The lead member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama is dissatisfied that the Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa, was helped in avoiding transparency in the witness box.

While addressing the press after the Supreme Court ruled against him by dismissing his petition, Mahama said that Jean Mensa’s inability to answer questions from Ghanaians sets a negative precedent for the future.
“Ghanaians looked forward to seeing the EC Chair testify in this case but that did not happen… the refusal of the EC Chair to testify leaves a bad precedence for the future,” he stated.
However, Mahama has said that the NDC disagrees with the ruling of the Supreme Court over the 2020 Election.
