Information Minister Honorable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has on Wednesday 16 September, 2020 said Ghana has seen a drastic decline in COVID-19 active cases for the past few weeks.

He had share the information on his tweeter page on Wednesday where he posted “The good news about our COVID-19 fight this far is we have seen a drastic decline in Active Cases…”

The Member of Parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi also call on all Ghanaians to still continue to recognize the prevent measures laid out by the World Health Organization (WHO) through the Ministry of Health Ghana (MoHG) against the novel Corona Virus; called COVID-19 to prevent a spike in infection rate.

“Now more than ever, we must stay on the course by continuing to observe the preventive etiquette.” He added.

Overall, the active corona virus cases in Ghana statistics put it at 45,388 infections, 44, 267 recoveries, and 285 deaths.
