The Argentine football legend was admitted some time ago at the hospital and was undergoing a blood clot surgery on his brain.

The surgery was a success and the legend was living a healthy life until he reportedly passed away today.

According to reports, Diego Maradona dies after he suffered from a cardio-respiratory arrest and was left in a serious condition.

Diego Armando Maradona was an Argentine professional footballer and football manager. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, and by many as the greatest ever. He was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award.
