The renowned footballer who plays for the English premier league side, Arsenal has clocked one million followers on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

This comes just a few days after he qualified Ghana for the 2022 World Cup that will be played in Qatar.

Celebrating this feat, he made a post on Instagram with the caption;

“A million thanks 🙏🏾”

Days ago, Thomas Partey was in the news after he publicly made it known that he has converted to Islam. Many Ghanaians shared their views about this development with many people wondering why he made this move.

The Black Stars of Ghana has been drawn in the same group with former European Champions, Portugal, South American giants, Uruguay and South Korea. The team will be playing Portugal in their first match with their second match being against South Korea before finishing it off with Uruguay.

Ghana will be looking forward to making it past the group stage and probably improving on their 2010 success where they made it to the quarter-finals.

This is the fourth time Ghana has qualified for the Mundial and it was such an ecstatic moment when the Black Stars qualified.
