Tottenham have announced re-signing Gareth Bale on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.
The announcement completes the Welsh man’s surprise return to the club. Bale left Spurs for Real Madrid in 2013 for a then world record £85m.

However, scoring more than 100 goals, he has been deemed surplus to requirements.
He originally joined Tottenham as a 17-year-old from Southampton in 2007 for an initial payment of £5m.

Bale had won 13 trophies with Real Madrid in seven years, including four Champions League.
