The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended a helping hand to the veteran actor, Psal, Adjeteyfio following reports of the latter unable to pay his house rent.

News broke about the financial status of the actor after he revealed in a recent interview that he might be homeless very soon because he is unable to pay for his house rent. The actor rrevealed in an interview that he has no means on survival at the moment and only survives on gifts he receives from people.

Recall, Ayisha Modi reacted to the news by promising to help Psalm pay that amount and more following the revelations he made about his currentl financial status.

Well, the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia who lost his mother this morning has reached out to TT to offer assistance. He was reported to have paid the actor’s rent for the next five years and also given him an amount of GHS20,000 for substenance.

This was made known by Lawyer Krobea Kwabena Asante who took to his Facebook page and wrote; “Despite mourning his mum who died in the early hours of today. Dr Bawumia this morning fulfilled a promise he made yesterday to TT of Taxi Driver fame that he will foot TT’s rent bills. Dr Bawumia has paid 6 months renewable for the next 5 years (30k) for TT and has also given TT 20k for upkeep. In all, he gave TT 50k this morning.”
