President Nana Akufo-Addo in his fifth national address on Sunday, April 5, 2020, made the announcement as government intensifies the fight against COVID-19 in Ghana.
Nana Addo said there will be no disconnection of supply. Furthermore, government will absorb the water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months, ie, April, May, and June, and this has gotten many Ghanaians so happy including Mahama’s girl, Afia Schwarzenegger.

Afia Schwarzenegger took to her IG page to shower praises on Nana Addo and added that;
”Nana Addo If you give us free light we would give you another 48 years to rule Ghana. We Need Free Lights too “…Afia Schwar said.
