Black Stars defender, Alexander Djiku was on the scoresheet for his club, Strasbourg.

He scored for the club in their 1-1 French Ligue 1 game with Reims that was played on Sunday, August 21.

The talented defender scored the first goal for his club during stoppage time in the first half and his goal was assisted by Thomasson.

His goal was canceled after Reims equalized in the 82nd minute, however, his performance was actually top-notch.

His full name is Alexander Kwabena Baidoo Djiku, he was born on 9 August 1994 in Montpellier, France.

He spent his youth career at Bastia. He played for the reserve team until 2014 when he was promoted to the senior team.

After spending three years at the club, he joined Caen. Djiku made his debut in a Coupe de la Ligue match against Évian in December 2013.

On 11 July 2017, he joined Ligue 1 side, Stade Malherbe Caen, on a four-year contract. He was acquired by Strasbourg in the summer of 2019.

The footballer is married to Heley Djiku. The couple have two children, Wesley and Elyana.
