Nigerian legend footballer, Jay Jay Okocha said the Super Eagles have no excuse if the Black Stars defeats them at home.
Both teams played well in their first leg of the 2022 world cup qualifiers which ended in a draw in Kumasi, Ghana but Okocha thinks the Black Stars are great players.
Okocha told Joy Sports presenter, Gary Al-Smith in an interview that Ghanaians should work hard because they are talented players but don’t perform well as a team.
“If we can’t win at home, we don’t deserve to be in the World Cup in 2022,” Okocha remarked, via Footballghana.
“We must win to qualify in front of our supporters. What more do we need?”
This is why I believe they are underachievers since from the outside it seems they never have a strong team spirit.
