Trisha Stratford Death: What Happened To Trisha Stratford?: Dr Trisha Stratford, a former relationship expert on the reality program Married At First Sight (MAFS), has reportedly died at 72.
John Aiken, a relationship expert who also featured alongside Stratford in MAFS, announced her demise on Monday, 18 September 2023, via social media.
In an Instagram post, John Aiken wrote; “I’m heartbroken and devastated that my friend and dear colleague Trisha has passed away. We shared an amazing seven seasons of @MAFS together.
She loved everything New Zealand, relationships, the All Blacks, the Black Caps, French wine and traveling the world. I’ll miss you Tish. Thankyou for all the memories”

The news of Trisha Stratford’s death was announced by John Aiken, one of the relationship experts on Married At First Sight (MAFS) via social media.
He wrote on Instagram, “I’m heartbroken and devastated that my friend and dear colleague Trisha has passed away”. John Aiken did not reveal the circumstances surrounding Stratford’s death.
Stratford was born in Wellington and spent much of her career working between Australia and New Zealand. She’s a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in the neuroscience of relationships.
She’s best known for her appearance in the Australian version of the hit marriage show; Married At First Sight (MAFS) for seven seasons before announcing her departure in 2020.
“I have decided to step back from the television series to focus on my writing, research, and neuropsychotherapy,” she said in a statement.

Before joining MAFS in 2015, Stratford worked for 60 Minutes in both New Zealand and Australia and was a war correspondent in Somalia and Bosnia.
She also produced and directed a number of TV documentaries about social justice issues, and published two books; Blood Money: The Incredible True Story of David Morris and the Tragedy of Somalia.
At the time of this report, the family was planning his final funeral arrangement and the details are yet to be finalized. We will keep you updated.
