Born on August 11, 1964, Mark Francesco Zanotti is a retired Australian rules football player who was a member of the Fitzroy Football Club, Brisbane Bears, and West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Mark Zanotti began his career at Scarborough and played fullback most of the time before moving on to Subiaco in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He participated in their 1986 premiership and took home the Simpson Medal in the grand final for best on the ground.
He joined the VFL the next season and played for West Coast’s debut team. He relocated to Brisbane after two seasons, where he enjoyed his greatest season (1990), placing third in their best and fairest.
From 1993 until 1995, he completed his career at Fitzroy, adding 57 games. He played interstate football five times for Western Australia in addition to three VFL/AFL clubs. He relocated to the UK after concluding his career in Australia, where he was a founding member of the London Gryphons, who later changed their name to the Putney Magpies.
