Ghanaian actress and #FixTheCountry activist, Andrea Owusu, well known as Efia Odo has expressed her frustration after she was attacked by the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abronye DC on National TV.

Abronye DC has been one of the many politicians fighting against the #FixTheCountry campaigners especially the celebrities who have joined the trail to go against the Akufo Addo-led government.
While lambasting the #FixTheCountry campaigners on Wontumi TV, Abronye DC said that the likes of Efia Odo who used to date some of the NDC politicians during Mahama’s turn in office were being spoilt with money.
He said that some of the NDC politicians who mismanaged the country’s resources bought houses and cars for their girlfriends (slay queens), thus their absence in power has made these slay queens lose their source of income.
He alleged that Efia Odo has been one of the beneficiaries of such privileges and since she is not getting them anymore, she has decided to campaign against the NPP.
Reacting to this, Efia Odo debunked all the claims made by the politician on TV. She also lamented how Abronye DC has been tarnishing her image to the public simply because she wants her voice to be heard.
Taking to her Instagram after sharing a video of Abronye DC defaming her on TV, Efia Odo wrote; These are the people that are in power. Abronye is a politician, Bono Regional Chairman, and a communicator of the New Patriotic Party. Sitting on live TV defaming my character with lies and attacking my personality because I chose to speak the truth. Why do people like lying on my name. Defaming my character will not keep me mute. It’s such a pity that people like this are on TV . Displaying such behavior shouldn’t be allowed. The funny thing is I’ve never even stepped foot in Dubai(I don’t care to). This is outrageous
