The Bono Regional Chairman for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe, aka Abronye DC has plainly told John Dramani Mahama that his daughter Farida Mahama will be the first victim of his ‘Do or Die’ mantra released recently.

Abronye said Mahama’s infamous speech is a recipe for disaster and it’s very imperative Ghanaians from all walks of life condemn him in no uncertain terms.

The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) raised eyebrows recently when he said during his ‘Thank You’ tour that; “we were clearly robbed, but we accepted the verdict for the sake of peace,” in reaction to his narrow lost in the 2020 presidential elections.

“But I want to state here that the next elections would be won or lost at the polling station. So at the polling station, it will be do or die. I am not saying all die be die. I’m saying it will be ‘do or die’ because the right thing must be done,” he told Techiman-based Akina FM.

Responding to this, Abronye FC who spoke on Neat FM’s morning show noted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghanaians will not entertain any threat of violence in the next general elections, adding that its peace that every Ghanaian expects in 2024.

He emphasized that whatever John Mahama contemplates; either peace of fire, shall be reciprocated at him and his family.

“If it is peace they want, they will have. If it is fire, we will give them fire. If Mahama wants peace in election 2024, he will have it but it’s the fire he wants then he will be the first including his daughter to suffer the wrath of political violence.

“She will be at the polling station as an agent of the NDC. How will you expect someone to risk his or her life when your daughter is there to do the same? And mind you, every political violence starts at the polling station and then escalates. If that happens, she cannot vanish. It can’t be possible. If that do or die happens, she will be a victim,” he elaborated.

Abronye clarified that as much as he doesn’t wish anything bad to befall the nation, it will be in the interest of John Mahama to retract those comments lest face the blame should anything happen in the country.
