Ghanaian actress cum social media icon, Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo has registered her sentiments over the current rise in exchange rate with regards to the Ghana cedi and the Dollar.

The dollar has been ahead of the Ghana cedi since then, but it’s been disheartening to see how expensive it’s become over time, devaluing the cedi’s worth.
According to a recent study, a dollar is now worth GHS6, which has caused anxiety on social media as Ghanaians rekindle the #FixTheCountry movement.
According to the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, when the fundamentals in governing the country and stabilizing the economy are weak, the exchange rate will definitely expose the government for their incompetence.
Well, in view of the current rise in exchange rate with regards to the conversion of a Dollar to cedis, Efia Odo has lamented that the rate has exposed the Akufo-led government for their inability to maintain the economy. She made her assertions known through the microblogging platform, Twitter.
