President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he has proven that he can deliver if given another 4-year mandate to serve the country as president. Arguing that he is more competent than former President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday 23 September, 2020, President Akufo-Addo admonished Ghanaians to make a drastic decisi on about choosing, between him and former President Mahama on the basis of who they think has proven to be a good manager of the country’s economy as president.
“It bears repeating that 2020 is between the current President and the President who was voted out decisively in the last contest. It is about which of the two leaders you believe can put in motion the necessary measures to revive and strengthen the economy, businesses, and social services, and build our country…” He said.

According to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, 2020 election should be about which of the presidential candidates of the two big political parties; National Democratic Congress (NDC), and New Patriotic Party (NPP) that Ghanaian will trust to put their children’s future in his care,
He added “It is about which of the two men you can trust with the future of your children.”
Moreover, President of governing party NPP said it is most importantly, measuring records of both candidates.
“It is about leadership. It is about integrity. It is about the performances of the two men when given the opportunity by the Ghanaian people to lead. It is about measuring records against promises. It is about which of the two leaders has shown in office that he knows how to manage the economy.”
