Baba Abu Sadique, Spokesperson on Art for National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the John Mahama government when voted into power will provide free legal services to musicians and actors, in general, the creative act industry.

By his views, he says the NDC (NPP) has concieved the policy because they’ve noticed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shown no interest in protecting the intellectual properties Ghanaians who are into the creative art industry, especially music and movie industries.

He has expressed this opinion in an interview on Pure 95.7 Fm in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

He said “As we speak, there is a legal aid system at the Attorney General’s office but that aid is overstretched and apart from being overstretched, the focus is mainly on Gender Child and Human right issues”
