The  Limpopo Division of the High Court in Polokwane has sentenced three men, namely; Ndou Lukase Rembuluwani, Ndou Ben (both 29) and Khoza Ngobeni Small (28) to a total jail term of 384 years.

The three convicts were reportedly the Seshego and Westenburg area between September and October 2017. They were reported to be part of the terrorist group who raided the Polokwane municipality villages under the name “Boko Haram.” 

They were found guilty of murder, attempted murder, unlicensed possession of ammunitions, robberies, housebreaking, theft, malicious destruction of properties and illegal immigr ation.

They were being sentenced to a total of 384 years imprisonment by the High Court in Polokwane.

In other news, the Ogun State Police Command has reportedly apprehended two men in Ogun State for allegedly stealing a ram Ahead of the Eid-Il-Kabir festival this weekend.

The suspects who were identified as Adetunji Alagbe and Opeyemi Ogunlokun were arrested on Tuesday, 5th July 2022 after a report was lodged against them by one Sodiq Abolore who happens to be the owner of the ram.

According to the owner of the ram, he was asleep in his room at about 3 am, he heard an unusual noise in his compound, saying this made him peep through the window.

He peeped through his window only to find out that the iron gate with which he blocked the entrance of the room he kept the Sallah ram had been pulled down.

The Ogun State Image Maker, Abimbola Oyeyemi stated that the victim intimated that the victim stepped out of his room only to find out that his Sallah ram which he bought at the rate of N120,000 was no longer there.

The victim conducted a search for the ram around and he saw three men forcing his ram into a waiting Mazda car booth, which made him raise the alarm, and a distress call was made to the police.
