Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy has been crowned the winner of the best Gospel Song of the Year award.

The renowned songstress won this award in competition with the likes of top gospel musicians, Akese Brempong, Celestine Donkor, Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, Joyce Blessing, Ohemaa Mercy, Obaapa Christy, Patience Nyarko.

Ohemaa Mercy’s Ote Me Mu which translates as ‘He lives in me’, a single which featured MOGmusic won the Gospel song of the year. A song that serves as a gentle reminder of who God is and what he has freely made available to Christians.

As a reminder, this year’s edition which has the theme “More Than Music” is being held at the Grande Arena in Accra Conference International Center.
