Ghanaian rapper and Hip Hop star, Sarkodie is undoubtedly the most decorated musician in the country’s music industry.
His dexterity and skill on the beat and the ability to twist his tongue in a very fast manner has earned him the bragging right as the fastest rapper in Ghana and to a large extent, Africa.
However, it will interest you to know that there are some good rappers who also rap faster than Sarkodie but because the spotlight has not been put on them, they are still wallowing in the darkness but this article seeks to highlight five rappers who are equally good as Sarkodie and rap faster than him.
1. Flowking Stone
Born Kwaku Nisa Boama, rapper Flowking Stone is not new to the game and his experience and skill when it comes to rap makes him a force to reckon with.
Flowking Stone, is a health practitioner who has several hits to his credit and he has the ability to tongue-twist and can rap very fast.
2Lyrical Joe (LJ)
Lyrical Joe (LJ) has an exceptional writing and rapping skills who is gradually becoming a household name even after bursting into the scene barely a decade ago.
In 2011, LJ represented Ghana at the ‘X-Factor’ show and featured on Sarkodie’s ‘Biiba Ba’ song including other sensational rappers like Amerado and others.
LJ has worked with industry players such as Gemini, Flowking Stone, Guru, Tinny, K Bentil, Yaa Pono and a host of top Ghanaian musicians. He normally raps in the English language and he raps faster than Sarkodie.
3. Gemini Orleans
Those who don’t know much about the music industry will ask who Gemini Orleans is but Gemini has been in the rap game for over a decade.
Gemini is one of the fast rappers Ghana can boast of and Sarkodie at a point even acknowledged the enormous tongue twisting skills he is endowed with when he gave Gemini thumps up on his song ‘Revenge of the Spartans’.
4. Secure Pabene
About a decade ago, Ghanaians woke up to a song by rapper, Secure Pabene spitting hard bars in a very fast manner that earned him the title, the fastest rapper in Ghana.
He was seen as the one to give BET award-winner, Sarkodie a run for his money and he touted himself as the Busta Rhymes of Ghana.
