The former lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district at the Upper Chamber, Senator Dino Melaye has disclosed the struggles he passed through before becoming who he is now.
According to the politicians, he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Dino made this disclosure in an interview with BBC Pidgin. He said life wasn’t easy for him when he was growing up after his father lost his job.

Dino Melaye recounted how fed himself and his family by breeding goats and selling the offspring to make money. He also added that he was able to buy his JAMB form with the money he got from selling the goats. According to him, he made more money in business and not politics.
