Lucy was one of the housemates of the Big Brother Naija season five. She was part of the 10 ladies selected for the BBNaija show for 2020.
Lucy was one of the most talked-about housemates due to some petty fights and arguments she mostly had with the other housemates. Aside from her pettiness, she is one of the hard-working housemates. She was also the oldest housemate in the house.

Lucy Edet Essien is a graduate with a second class upper distinction. After she graduated from school, she worked in different organizations making her good at a lot of work. After her eviction, the housemate started her own business which is selling very well. Lucy has returned to her grilling business and has attracted more customers than she used to have due to her fame from the BBNaija house.
