Award-winning Ghanaian actor cum Preacher, Majid Michel has explained how he got himself arrested at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, prosecuted, and fined for traffic violations.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV’s Ahosepe Xtra, Majid Michel revealed that he was racing with someone on the busy road when he accidentally crossed the red light because he was not paying attention to the traffic rules.
After crossing the red light, he was being chased by a police officer with a motorbike and when he stopped, he was handed a letter to come and answer to the court on why he decided to flout the traffic regulations.
When he made an appearance in the court, he was inquired by the court if he was guilty or not and he replied “Not Guilty”. However, a friend of his prompted him to just accept fault and take whatever punishment the court would hand to him and he obeyed.
He added that he was made to pay a fine of GHc600 for his offenses.

In other news, Ghanaian actor and aspiring parliamentary candidate, John Dumelo has fastened his seat belts for the 2024 parliamentary elections, saying he will not be conceding defeat in the next elections.
He made this known while presenting an award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards alongside his colleague, Yvonne Nelson.
The actor ambushed the opportunity to campaign for himself and the National Democratic Congress(NDC) saying what happened in the 2020 general elections will not repeat itself in the upcoming elections as he assures his fans of victory.
As a reminder, John Dumelo contested for the parliamentary seat for Ayawaso West Wuogon. He competed against Lydia Alhassan but unfortunately, failed to assume office as a member of parliament for the constituency.
