Adelaide The Seer, a female visually handicapped vocalist unearthed by music duo DopeNation, has announced her departure from the group.

She went blind in her senior year of high school after being infected with cerebrospinal meningitis, which impacted a section of her brain that controlled her v ision.

Adelaide is confident that life is still better and PROMISING for her after eight (8) years and a few months as a visually impaired individual.

In her words, she had to take a rest from music to focus on her health needs.

Adelaide said in an interview with Abena Ghana on Adom TV’s Journey Show that she couldn’t sign a formal recording agreement with Dope Nation since music includes a lot of obligations.

Since her social media profiles were supposedly hijacked by Dope Nation, many people have been under the impression that there had been a concern with their split.

Everybody saw me out with them some months ago and this was because they were running a promo; they were giving beats to five up-and-coming artistes and they chose me first; so that is when we did ‘Wire Me’. So after Wire Me, it got interesting and that’s when we did ‘What A God’; and there’s one more song that hasn’t been released,” she said in a recent interview.
