Controversial Ghanaian media personality and comedian Afia Schwar has lamented over the supposed Christmas gift sent to her by the second lady, Samira Bawumia.
In a video shared by the comedian, she disclosed how she was disappointed after coming home to see the “special” Christmas gift Samira Bawumia sent to her.

According to the comedian, she was at the hospital with her sick father undergoing treatment when she got a call that the second lady of the country has sent her a “special” Christmas gift only for her to return home and realized it was a book.
Narrating the incident, Afia said, “I took my father to the Korle Bu hospital when I received a call that the second lady has a Christmas gift for me. I became excited and screamed so loud that everyone heard me.”
“It was the first time in a long time the nurses had seen a smile on my face. I quickly gave directions to the person bringing the present. I finally got hold of it, unraveled it only for me to find out that it was a book. It’s Christmas and what am I using a book for? she stated in the video.

“The Samira I know wouldn’t do this. Someone took the main gift and replaced it with a book. My dad is seriously ill and I need support,” Afia said suspecting foul play.
