Controversial television personality Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed that her ex-husband Abrokwah used to work as a cleaner and driver in her brother’s house.
The two tied the knot in a secret wedding in South Africa in 2016. They lasted for less than two years but they officially divorced in 2020.
In an interview with Jocelyn Dumas, Afia recounted she came into contact with Abrokwah when she was living with her brother, whom Abrokwah worked for in South Africa.
“Lawrence will come and clean the house of my brother who is married to a Twana lady and they are very lazy. After my surgery, I became a burden on my brother so he advised I go live with Abrokwah.”
“He suggested he got a flat and I will quote him, he said “my flat won’t be up to your standard, I don’t have DSTV … but I can give you the proper care when you are with me”.
According to her, she had multiple surgeries that left her bedridden for 6 months and at a appoint, she was becoming a burden to her brother, therefore she decided to go live with Abrokwah, who guaranteed to give her good care at his flat.
“I had kidney stones and fibroadenoma at the same time so I have two of breasts slashed, I had part of my stomach gone,” she said.
