Ghanaian singer, Akosua Kwakye, well known as AK Songstress has finally reacted to claims made by some Ghanaians that she is imitating the style of the Nigerian singer, Simi.

In an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, AK Songstress revealed she feels happy when she is being compared to Simi because she is a great musician as well.
AK Songstress stated that she has been compared to top Jamaican female singers like Spice and Patra but she feels good when such comparisons are drawn because these musicians are great.
“Comparing me to Simi, I think I should even be happy because Simi is a great artiste. I don’t take pen and paper to copy her style of music but I have heard a lot of people say I sound like Simi”, she said.

In other news, controversial Nollywood actor and social media commentator, Uche Maduagwi has tackled Pastor Tunde Bakare for spending N100,000,000 on a presidential form while his members face deteriorating challenges in their lives.
In a post, Uche described the clergyman’s actions as insensitive and very repulsive to have snubbed his poor members just to embark on political ambition.
He also said that most of the dedicated members in the church of Pastor Tunde Bakare have no jobs with some not being able to afford a three-squared meal a day, yet the man of God snubbed these issues just to satisfy his selfish political edge.
He then called on the Nigerian law enforcement agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) to investigate the man of God and question him about his source of wealth since his action is a clear definition of spiritual wastefulness.
