In other news, prominent Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, affectionately known in the music industry as Sarkodie has revealed that he is currently on a music break.
This was after a die-hard fan tackled him on the microblogging platform, Twitter, asking him for a new song since it has been quite a while since he dropped a new jam for his fans and all music lovers.
In a swift response to the fan’s plea, Sarkodie stated it shouldn’t be the case that he will be obliged to release a new song just because it’s another year, hence he needs to quench their thirst with a new jam.
He insinuated that he has been dropping songs back to back for over a decade since he emerged into the scene, hence he has decided to go on a one and half year break from releasing a new song.
