Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that with the current trend under Akuffo-Addo’s Government where we’ve seen Auditor General going on leave it means Electoral Commission can suffer the same fate.
Speaking on Woezor TV which was live on his Facebook account, John Mahama said,
“If the president can ask the Auditor General to go on leave, it means he can ask the Chief Justice to go on leave, he can ask the Electoral Commissioner to go on leave, he can ask the CHRAJ Director to go on leave, but these are supposed to be independent institutions.”
