Akwaboah Jnr originally born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah is a Ghanaian songwriter, producer and a singer. He is from Mampong Beposo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Akwaboah who before releasing his own song was noted for writing songs for the Likes of Becca and DSP Kofi Sarpong has been in the music industry from the year 2007 till date.
On 14 March Akwaboah inked a record deal from Sarkcess music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie and later went on to co-writing almost 80% of Sarkodie’s fourth studio album ‘Mary’.
Not only is he a songwriter but also knows how to keyboardist and have played with legendary Hugh Masekela and John Legend.
For his musical prowess he is also a music judge for Adom TV Kids music reality show, Nsoroma.
In 2018, he released his studio album titled ”Matters Of The Heart”.
Akwaboah Jnr has won himself an award as the Best Songwriter of The Year at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards and also got nominated for Best Vocal Performance (2016 Ghana Music Award) and Best Collaboration that same year.
He also won New artiste of the year and songwriter of the year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2014 and 2013 respectively.

Akwaboah’s father, Kwadwo Akwaboah in an interview with TV3 disclosed his unfortunate incident of him getting blind yet he is able to perform when called for shows.
Akwaboah is not married yet though sometime back it was all over the news of the singer having a secret wedding which took over the internet.
In December 2019, Akwaboah parted ways with Sarkcess Music to sign a new deal with OB Empire.
