Female Ghanaian Highlife singer Sister Afia has revealed she’s too busy to focus on critics and their criticisms now.

Sister Afia stated she has grown up in the music industry to realize that criticism is part of the job and that she has to get used to it.

Sher added whether people like her or not, they one way or the other going to listen to her songs and that’s what she is focused on now, making good music for her fans the the general public.

The ‘Slay Queen’ hitmaker revealed that she was first worried about the various criticisms that were coming her way at the beginning of her career. She added some comments were so bad that they really got to her.

She said she has been forcing herself for the past 6 years to put herself to the level she is to so when people talk bad about her project, she becomes emotional, and it’s very painful to go through such stages.

But now, she has realized she needs to let go of whatever other people say about her personality, her sense of fashion, and her music career because it’s part of the job.

Speaking with the renowned disc jockey and rapper Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based Hitz FM this morning, Sister Afia stated she’s into other businesses like setting up a boutique and food joint in Accra.
