Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Piesie Esther has said that her colleague Ama Boahemaa’s new fair skin should not be attached to bleaching.
According to the artist, poverty was the main reason why Ama Boahemaa looked dark in the past. She emphasized that her light skin complexion is her real color.

It will be recalled that the German-based Ghana gospel musician Ama Boahemaa went viral after a photo of her with a sudden fair complexion. The artist used to be very dark so a lot of people were shocked after she was seen with a different complexion.
When asked how she became fair after she traveled to Germany, Ama Boahemaa stated that her completion changed after the excessive intake of milk from overseas.

In a conversation with Onua TV’s Mona Gucci, Piesie Esther defended her fellow singer saying “maybe the fair complexion was in her blood. Just that poverty enveloped her real complexion.
“The soap she was using wasn’t favorable to her skin tone. Now she’s using good soap, as well as enjoying good weather. Hence her fair complexion”.
