Jae5, a Ghanaian-English record producer has eulogized the talented Afrobeat singer, Ama Serwah Genfi, known professi onally as Amaarae, says she’s unique and Ghanaian musicians need to learn from her.

According to Jea5, unlike other Ghanaian musicians, both underground and mainstream who focus on copying from other people and pasting as their works, Amaarae stands out and she is actively making different music weather.

He claims that he does not listen to her songs that much but the few he has paid attention to prove that Amaarae is exceptional and probably one of the few Ghanaian musicians hoisting the Ghana flag on the world music market.

Taking to his Twitter, Jae5 wrote; Not downplaying anyone. Also don’t really listen to Amarae that much but I respect she unique and not trying to copy anybody. I respect she actively making different music weather it’s my cup of tea or not

In other news, promising Ghanaian singer, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie has disclosed that there are some big names in Africa when it comes to music who are chasing her with collaboration deals.

Gyakie has done more with her craft as a musician than expected. Ever since she broke into the scene with her most popular song “Forever”, Gyakie has gained global recognition and continues to dominate top charts on social media.
