Rapper Amerado has asked bloggers and music fanatics to stop pitching him against the legends in the industry, particularly Sarkodie.

Amerdado is out with a new song dubbed Obia Boa, the lyrics of which have been interpreted as a dig at his mentor Sarkodie, who put him on the 2018 Biibi Ba project.

The rhymer said music loves and connoisseurs should listen to the song very well and reveal a single in line in the song that sounds like a shared to Sarkodie. In a new post sighed on his Facebook page, Amerado said;

It’s time you guys stop pitching me against our legends just for click baits. Listen to #ObiaaBoa again and tell me where I shaded Sarkodie. Put respect on his name like I do.

In other Showbiz news, Black Sherif has said in a fresh interview with TV3 that the recent awards he scooped at the 3Music Awards and Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will drive him to sustain his relevance by working very hard.

The fast rising singer and rapper also said it did not surprise him when his name popped up the Male Vocalist of the Year award category at the VGMAs because he had always envisaged this way back during his school days.

He revealed how he used to drum on tables and tell people that he would pick the VGMA Male Vocalist award. Two years down the line, Black Sherif was nominated for Male Vocalist with his single, ‘Gold Digga.’

I was surprised too because my friends will tell you back in SHS when I was beating tables and signing. I told them that soon we will be taking VGMA Male Vocalist. But I didn’t expect ‘Goal Digger’ to get me the vocalist.
