Before the show, just as any other nominee, Amerado had high hopes of walking out of the auditorium with the prestigious award on the account of the hard work and dedication he has contributed to rap music.

On the rep carpet, some of the guests even rooted for the “Memp3” to win the Best rapper of the year award at the end of the night but it was rather unfortunate that he lost it to Eno Barony.

In reaction to that, Amerado has taken to his Twitter to say that the young and upcoming stars in the music industry are going to make history, adding that nothing can delay that.

He wrote; The Younger ones are gonna make history and nothing can delay that.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian singer, Darkovibes has eulogized rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie, saying that he is the best rapper alive.

Ghana has been blessed with excellent rappers for decades. The likes of Okyeame Kwame, Obrafour, Okomfour Kwaade, Lord Kenya, and others have managed to put Ghana on the map with their talents.

Over the last years, the emergence of Manifest, Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, E.L, and Edem has also projected the Ghana music industry to the world with the new school vibes.
