WBA and WBO title holder, Anthony Joshua and Bulgarian fighter, Kubrat Pulev’s match has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in the United Kingdom.

The most anticipated match would have been Anthony’s first match after two years fighting away from home. The bout was scheduled to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but has been scheduled for a later date in August.

Speaking to sky sports about the postponed match, Anthony’s promoter, Eddie Hearn said;

“We’re speaking to Tottenham, we’ve postponed the 20th date,”

“We are working with them for dates in July and early August as well, when we hope we’ll be back.

“Hopefully we see that fight take place at the end of the summer.”
