The reports indicates the former Black Stars captain who now plays for Accra based Legon Cities was verbally abused by the fan on several occasions during the game between Accra Great Olympias and Legon Cities in the ‘Accra derby’ this afternoon.

The act continued for a very long time and witnesses around revealed the fan was using the ‘Ga’ expression describing the striker’s mother genitals and even after the match, he continued to verbally abused Baby Jet.

This got Asamoah Gyan very angry and eye witnesses says the striker tried to approach the fan in the stands but wads stopped by the personnels of the Ghana Police Service who were present at the stadium.

This will not be the first time the striker has been verbally abused by supporters of fans. Recall a similar incident happened a couple of years back at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi when a fan brought a banner to the stadium demanding the whereabouts of the striker’s former best friend and musician Castro after the musician miraculously varnished whiles they went for a ski ride on the Ada river with some ladies.

Gyan and his elder brother Baffour Gyan allegedly attacked the fan and beat him with off which it later turned up to be a court case and Gyan forced to settle the fan for the abuse.

He has also been subject to many attacks both on and off the pitch ever since he spoiled the penalty against Uruguay that could have send Ghana into the semi finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa.
