Azraai Khor Death: Who Killed Azraai Khor?: Mohd Azraai Khor Bin Abdullah, born Khor Sek Leng, was a Malaysian football coach and player.

As a football coach, he attained legendary status in Malaysia when, in 2007 and 2008, he coached his team, Kedah FA (The Canaries) to a “double treble” victory in all three major football competitions in two consecutive years.

Azraai Khor died at 71 on Thursday, February 8, 2024, after suffering a major stroke. His son, Firdaus Zainuddin said in a Facebook post that the former Kedah coach passed away at the Kedah Medical Centre (KMC) in Alor Setar today.

Azraai was a Kedah FA player in the Malaysia Cup competition and also was in the Kedah Kilat FC team for the FAM Cup competition from 1969 until 1980. He played as a midfielder, and right winger and also skippered the team.

Azraai was also once part of the Malaysia national team from 1975 to 1978. In 1976, he was part of the Malaysia squad in the AFC Asian Cup in Iran. He also was part of the Malaysia squad that won the Merdeka Cup and King’s Cup in 1976.

In 1991, at the age of 39 Azraai was appointed head coach of the Kedah Malaysia President Cup team. He worked as part of the club’s youth team for several years; 1991, 1994, 1998, and 2002.

He resigned from Kedah after the 2009 season and was appointed the head coach of Harimau Muda A in 2010, but resigned later in the year after a confrontation with the team’s technical personnel and players during the squad training stint in Slovakia.

On 14 November 2013, he was officially unveiled as the new T-Team F.C. head coach. Azraai resigned from his job at the end of July 2014, after T-Team was relegated to the Malaysia Premier League.

Azraai was announced as the new head coach of Sabah FA in September 2015, his 1-year contract beginning on 1 October But less than a month later, he mutually terminated his contract with Sabah.

Azraai created history by helping Kedah become the first team in Malaysian football to win two consecutive trebles; the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Cup, and Malaysia FA Cup, during the 2006–07 and 2007–08 seasons.
