Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha has reacted to the crowning of hype woman, Phyna as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7 game show.
As we reported earlier, Phyna, real name Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, won Season 7 of Big Brother Naija with the theme “Level Up,” with Bryan finishing as the first runner up.
While many people praised her, well-known Twitter expert Daniel Regha criticized her, saying that the second-place finisher, Bryann, was more deserving of the prize because he never crossed his limits or sought to impose himself on other housemates.
He also accused Nigerians of being overly emotional in choosing a deserving winner of this prestigious TV show that is viewed across the continent.
“Phyna won, but if we’re being honest Bryann was m¤re deserving cos he never overstepped his boundaries or tried to impose on other hms; As usual, Nigerians are very sentimenta! when it comes to picking faves, it happens literally every time so it’s n¤t surprising. No shades.
The ‘Level Up’ house consisting of 28 housemates dished out episodes of intriguing drama, fun and entertainment, and 6 housemates, namely Phyna, Bryann, Bella, Chichi, Adekunle and Daniella made it to the finals.
After surviving over 6 nominations, Phyna was declared the winner by popular media personality and show host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu. The first Runner Up was Bryann and 2nd Runner Up was Bella Okagbue.
Phyna walks away with 100million naira including a brand new car by Innoson Motors, a two bedroom house, a vacation trip and souvenir packages from various sponsors.
Nigerians and fans have congratulated the new season 7 winner as they alluded that the win was deserving.
