Speaking in an interview on the Showbiz Roundtable aired on Joy FM, Trigmatic stated that the new school of creatives need to be grateful for the forums made available to them for the easy access to information.

During the thought-leadership forum which discussed matters on artiste PR, contracts and royalties, the rapper opined present-day musicians are very fortunate to learn from their mistakes through certain forums provided for them in present days.

Trigmatic whiles touching on the importance of contracts to musicians and their royalties admitted that musicians during his era lost out on their royalties.

He stated that as a result, some of them had to sign life-trenching contracts with companies and labels out of ignorance and misinformation and this he said can be blamed on lack of grooming and living fantasy of the music culture.

“You had seen your predecessor on big stages, you wanted to mimic and be like them…but you never got to see the business side, signing contracts, or understanding what it meant to sign to GHAMRO”, he said on the show.

Trigmatic believes that the emergence of social media and other forums holding the music business and its patrons in recent times have made thing much easier for entertainers and music industry stakeholders to rectify and correct their flaws.
