Jamaican dancehall maestro, Anthony Moses Davis, affectionately known as Beenie Man has finally reacted to claims of contracting Covid-19 upon arrival in the country to co-headline the #BhimConcert21.

According to reports filed by the GhanaWeekend, Beenie Man was picked by the National Security after they reportedly found out that he has tested positive for Covid-19 yet he interviewed on many radio and tv stations and even performed on stage with Stonebwoy at the #BhimConcert21.

In a tweet, Beenie Man has refuted claims of having the Covid-19 virus in his system before entering Ghana for the show. According to him, he has been traveling for the past six months without testing positive for Covid-19 and he has been fully vaccinated.

He claimed that he has his suspicions that some unscrupulous people might probably want him to contract the virus.

He wrote; Mi confuse yf🥴🥴🥴🥴. #Update to my fans who are genuinely reaching out. I have no Covid, never caught covid before, tested NEGATIVE for Covid. Been travelling for the past 6 months Covid free. Fully vaccinated. I guess someone wants me to have Covid. Uno weird yf.🥴🥴🥴

As a reminder, Beenie Man was billed by Stonebwoy to co-headline his annual #BhimConcert21. The self-acclaimed dancehall king thrilled Ghanaians with an electrifying performance alongside other Ghanaian musicians.
