Rufftown signee Kiki Marley has claimed that Black Sherif topping charts in Nigeria and Audiomack is not an achievement to her as he must do more than that to see his achievement.
Black Sherif is making it big in the music industry and is slowly penetrating the Nigerian market which is a very good thing that most of us are proud of but Kiki Marley sees beyond what we see and hence isn’t on the same page with us.
According to her in an interview with Sammykay, it’s impressive that Black Sherif is topping charts in Nigeria and Audiomack and Nigerians are claiming him for themselves but that is not an achievement because to her, achievement entails more than just topping charts.

In a way, we understand what Kiki Marley is trying to say but then being able to break into the Nigerian market and having them accept to push you ahead is an achievement to some of us since most artists are finding it difficult to enter the Nigerian market as they have taken over Ghana.
We know for sure that Black Sherif is making it huge in some other places and not Nigeria alone hence to us, what he has done so far is an achievement and we disagree with Kiki Marley that topping charts are not an achievement because it’s not easy to top chats now that musicians are many.
