Ghgossip.com can reliably report that Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo has been granted bail by an Accra High Court.
This was confirmed by one of the lawyers of Akuapem Poloo’s legal team, Lawyer Quayson, who revealed that the bail which was pending appeal was a difficult thing to do as the judge said during the brief hearing.
According to him, but the time the appeal may be over, Akuapem Poloo might have served her 30 days jail sentence making the appeal process and the aim of it, worthless.
Speaking to Hitz FM on their ‘Daybreak Hitz’ show monitored by Ghgossip.com, Lawyer Quayson revealed that Akuapem Poloo was granted bail of GHC80,000 with three sureties.
Her bail comes barely 48 hours after some Ghanaian celebrities signed a petition appealing to the government to grant Akuapem Poloo a pardon and actress Tonto Dikeh joined in the call.
Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page and wrote;
One thing They always say is No one can tell a Mother how to bring Up her Child, it only becomes society responsibilities when you are hurting the child.
In this case i see no hurt here, Can i take same picture? No I cldnt, not even in the next life but Am different doesn’t mean The Act is Totally wrong when it’s in the privacy of your home alone.
