Ghanaian broadcaster Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as Vim Lady, has stated that there is no candidate in the NPP who can match the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 elections.
According to her, in recent years, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the only candidate who has marketed himself to the people of Ghana.

“Bawumia has marketed himself. The work he has done himself in Marketing, no one can get out of the way, “he said on Accra-based Okay FM.
Afia Pokuaa indicated that relegating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will spell doom for the New Patriotic Party and will give credence to the broad perception that the PNP only uses and undoes Northerners.
“That is the message that the NDC will preach and then bring the story of Aliu Mahama to reinforce it.
Adding that “The NPP needs to deploy Bawumia if he loses, that will be his problem. Bawumia has marketed very well and is the only candidate who can make Mahama run for his money. “
