Burna Boy’s decision to return to South Africa after swearing by his anago balls that he won’t step foot in the country over the xenophobic attacks illustrates that one should not make rash decisions when tempers are flying.

Burna Boy has been listed among artists that would be performing in Africa Unitec oncert on the 24th of November 2019 in South Africa as part of the Africans Unite line-up.

His inclusion has not enthused majority of South Africans who got offended by his harsh words during the furore of the xenophobic attacks and has called on the organisers to drop him ASAP!

After being called out on social media when it emerged that he’s indeed coming back to South Africa, the ‘Hosanna’ hitmaker subtly revealed he has his own reason for rescinding his decision. According to him, he will contribute a portion of the proceeds from the concert to the victims of xenophobic attacks.

Taking to Twitter, the Nigerian artist wrote: “The first of many! Part of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of Xenophobic attacks by me!

“I really hope we can all keep contributing in our own way to make the world a better and safer place for each other. Africans unite, it’s bigger than all of us.”
