One of the female journalists in Ghana who has suffered verbal attacks and abuse from the public is the ace journalist of GHOne TV Nana Aba Anamoah.
The popular Ghanaian broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah has hit back at political footsoldiers attacking her for calling for the accountability of the COVID-19 relief funds and the impact of the increases in taxes.

Nana Aba has taken to her Twitter page to fire her attackers calling her ”Ashawo”. According to her, the use of these derogatory words won’t deter her neither will it change the fact and concerns she raised.
“I see the attack dogs are coming out in their numbers. Calling me “Ashawo” won’t change the fact that you’re attack dogs. Look for a new insult. Ashawo is no longer an insult”.
