The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced the steps Ghanaians can take to enjoy free electricity as promised by the President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In a statement released on 29th April, 2020, it has instructed prepaid users to swipe or insert their cards in their meters before visiting an electricity prepaid points to purchase power. This is to help acquire the necessary accurate consumption of data to ensure a smooth implementation of the government COVID-19 electricity relief.
