Ghana’s neighbours, Burkina Faso has recorded some new cases of the deadly Coronavirus. Per what we gathered in a report by legit.ng, four of these patients are ministers of state.

This comes after the whole African continent battles with the large numbers of infected people.

In addition to these cases in Burkina Faso, reports also suggest that two new deaths have been recorded in the country.

The ministers who tested positive are the ministers of foreign affairs, interior, education, and mines and quarries.

Burkina Faso has recorded a total of three deaths since the outbreak of the disease some few weeks ago.

So far, Burkina Faso reportedly has a total of 64 confirmed cases, however, they have also recorded five cases of recovery.

The government has also taken measures such as closing its land and air borders and introduced curfew starting on Saturday, March 21 in order to prevent the situation from escalating.
