Dababy is making sure his time in Nigeria is loaded with fun moments that he will encapsulate in his subconscious mind as a souvenir when he returns home to America.

The rapper is in Nigeria at the invitation of Afrobeats star Davido ahead of the music video shoot for their collaborative song. He landed in Lagos on May 16 and it seems he’s having more fun than the business aspect his visit is hinged on.

While being driven by Davido on the streets of Lagos, the rapper whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk blessed the life of a street hawker by some packs of popcorn and paying with a $100 bill.

In a corresponding video shared on Twitter, Tycoone who was in the car with DaBaby could be seen asking the popcorn seller how much he was given, but the hawker stayed mute, obviously not wanting to lose his struck of gold.

They later got to know he was benevolent enough to hand the boy $100 for something which would have cost $2.00. Watch the video below;

Elsewhere, Nigerian singer, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare known professionally as Jaywon has called out his older and veteran colleague D’Banj over music theft.

Jaywon stormed social media to reveal that the ‘Kokomaster’ cleverly stole a song belonging to a budding artiste under his management.

Giving background details on how things went down, the music executive said D’Banj had previously called him to ask that his artiste drop his song but they declined the request.

However, D’Banj and his team still went ahead to release the song without permission or clearance which is a clear violation of the copyright law.

Jaywon wrote; “After calling to ask my artist to drop his song and we refused your offer then you went ahead to release the song. Abah @iambangalee and management. You can do better.”
