Ghanaian musician, Theophilus Kofi Nti who is simply known as Kofi Nti has revealed that legendary Ghanaian musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu who is known as Daddy Lumba is his mentor.

He made this known in a recent interview he had with renowned Ghanaian media personality, Kweku Bempong Burundy on the prestigious Oman FM radio station.

During the interview, the host asked him whether he wanted to compete with Daddy Lumba considering how he is close to him, and in his response, he indicated that he and Daddy Lumba are two different people.

He indicated that Daddy Lumba is his mentor so he has no plans of competing with him although he sings like him.

Kofi Nti was one of the well-known highlife musicians who gave Ghanaians some hits back in the day. He reportedly began working as a musician after attending his secondary school education and he is on record to have collaborated with musical star, Okyeame Kojo Kum.

His first solo album was released in 2002 and it was dubbed, Wake Up. He followed it up with his second album, which featured collaborations from other popular Ghana musicians like KK Fosu, and Ofori Amponsah.
