The news of the death of Nigeria’s singer and songwriter Davido’s personal assistant, Obama DMW has caused a lot of reactions on social media.
Some social media users have alleged that the consistent death of the close people around the artist might be spiritually connected. Many are of the opinion that it is not normal to lose seven close friends in the space of 4 years.

Davido first lost DJ Olu. He was a brilliant DJ in the DMW gang. DJ Olu, also known as Olugbenga Abiodun, w as discovered dead in a BMW automobile parked in a garage on Banana Island, Lagos, alongside another Davido buddy, Chime Amaechi. Followed by Tagbo who was said to have died after drinking ten Tequila shots on his birthday.
Davido also lost Ahmed, affectionately known as King Jhaff also a close friend and one of his crew members. Also Davido’s personal bodyguard, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan, better known as TeejayDMW, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Followed by Habeeb known as Obama.
Obama DMW was reportedly dead after he suffered from heart failure. According to Peruzzi, Obama drove himself to the hospital when he realized he could not breathe well but died a few hours upon his arrival. He died of a heart attack.

A video of Davido warning Obama to quit smoking due to his underlying health issues has popped up on the internet a few hours after his death. Obama was seen in the video ignoring Davido’s counsel and continued smoking.
